Ash Ravens is a guitar-led singer-songwriter rooted in blues, rock and global influences, blending expressive guitar work with melodic, modern songwriting. A multi-instrumentalist, producer and recording artist, Ash’s music reflects a lifelong connection to the guitar as both an instrument and a voice.

Born and raised in Bangladesh, Ash’s musical journey has taken him across continents—from studying at the Los Angeles College of Music and performing on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, to building his craft in Melbourne, Australia, before making Ottawa, Canada his home in 2021.

A guitarist shaped by diverse musical traditions, Ash draws from blues, rock, pop sensibilities and global sounds to create songs that balance musicianship with emotional storytelling. His work has earned recognition through two Capital Music Award nominations, including Newcomer of the Year (2022) and Best Production & Arrangement (2024), as well as support from the City of Ottawa through the SEED Award.

Over the years, Ash has performed at venues across North America and Australia, including Hollywood’s House of Blues and Whisky a Go Go, and has appeared at festivals including Ottawa Bluesfest. He has collaborated with artists across genres and continues to develop his own catalogue as a songwriter, guitarist and producer.

Beyond his work as a performing artist, Ash is a producer and audio engineer dedicated to helping artists bring their musical visions to life. Whether through his own recordings or collaborations with other musicians, his goal remains the same: creating honest, guitar-driven music with a timeless connection between melody, emotion and musicianship.
