Ash Ravens is an award winning guitarist, singer-songwriter and recording artist currently residing in Ottawa, Canada. The aspiring musician moved to Canada’s capital in 2021. Though he’s new to the Canadian music scene specifically, he’s been making music for nearly a decade now — all across the world. From his hometown in Bangladesh, where he was born and raised, all the way to some of the most iconic venues on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip and the streets of Melbourne, Australia, Ravens has come a long way in the short span of his music career. He has been nominated as “NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR” at the Capital Music Awards 2022 hosted by Ottawa Music Industry Coalition, and his music has been featured on Rogers TV Ottawa. Ash received the SEED Award from the City of Ottawa in 2022.

Born with the soul of a nomad and the heart of a musician, Ash Ravens graduated from the Los Angeles College of Music before finding himself down under in Australia — where he would play some of the country’s biggest music festivals, and earn two music degrees from Melbourne Polytechnic.

Ash has so far played with and filled in with several different bands and solo artists in Los Angeles, USA and Melbourne, Australia. He has also toured with up and coming country artist Adrian Thomas at the TAMWORTH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL 2016 and played with Tamworth Battle of the Bands 2016 winner Megan Sidwell at Corner Hotel, Richmond and Memo Music Hall, St. Kilda.

Ash is a graduate of the prestigious Los Angeles College of Music (formerly known as LA Music Academy or LAMA), where he studied with the world's best music educators - Jody Fisher (world renowned jazz educator, author and performer), Tariqh Akoni (Musical Director Josh Groban, guitarist for Chaka Khan etc), Tony Inzalaco (Frank Zappa) Dave Hill, David Pozzy and many others. During his time in Los Angeles, Ash has performed with several bands as a fill-in guitarist and as a member at venues such as House of Blues Hollywood and at the Whiskey.

Being a professional guitar player, Ash understands the value of blending in with the band and his guitar playing style is incredibly 'fluid' - being adept in a multitude of genres and sounds. Ash can fit himself in virtually any band, all the while his original work reflects his unique musical fingerprints and an expression of his soul.

With his most recent move, Ash Ravens aspires to make his mark on the Canada’s thriving music industry by blending the sounds of pop, country, rock and alternative into something new and unique for the masses.

Ash is also a certified Pro Tools engineer and producer and currently producing and mixing Melbourne based psychedelic rock band Southbound Snake Charmers and solo artist Adrian Thomas.
